FELINE AFICIONADA RELOCATES ‘THE KITTY’S CORNER’
CAT SITTING AND BOARDING TO KINGSTON
Location Offers: Services For The Vacationing Cat
Kingston, MA (June 19th, 2015)-The Kitty’s Corner, cat sitting, boarding & grooming business, is now located at 65 Main Street in Kingston. “We’re excited to live in Kingston and our new property has a dedicated space to care for cats right in our home – I love taking care of my clients cats and being able to offer boarding as an additional services makes me so happy!” Shares Feline Aficionada Tonia Fleming.
In April the town approved a special permit to allow for a cat sitting business office and boarding area for felines at the residence of Tonia and Dustin Fleming. “I worked with Deb Mueller, Kingston Animal Control Officer, to come up with a standard of care and requirements specifically to the care of cats – it was very exciting to be a part of that!” Says Tonia.
The cat room is located on the first floor of the home, and has four kitty cottages – they’re spacious and decorated with orange and aquamarine tones and beachy cottage quilts & pillows – sure to provide restful catnaps. Each has a space for a large litter box, and on the other side is a the food and water bowls. Cottages can also hold a small cat bed, a scratch pad and other personal belongings during a cats stay. The cat room has two windows overlooking the bird feeders and the trees in the yard and a window hammock for lounging.
“For cats that need lots of attention or require special needs care – boarding is a great option,” Says Tonia. “They get to be a part of the daily activities because they can hear and see us when we’re home and they get lots of attention when I work in my office during the day.” Cats can receive their own special diet, (Tonia will even cook chicken or defrost raw diets daily) medication, daily brushing, and receive a spa treatment before they go home from their vacation.
Cat Sitting Services
The Kitty’s Corner also offers cat sitting services on the South Shore. Cat sitting is an option for cats that like to stay in the comfort of home, and clients can enjoy home keeping services while they’re away. Visits range between 30-60 minutes, depending on the cats interaction level and home care needs and include: greeting the cats, giving fresh food and water, cleaning all the bowls, administering medication, scooping litter boxes daily, sweeping up around the boxes, playing or snuggling with the cats (whatever their comfort level is for interaction), take in mail, papers, and any packages, rotate lights, take in or put out trash/recycle barrels, water a few house plants and sending cat parents text and picture updates via cell. The Business offers two packages for cat sitting which can be viewed in detail on their website.
