KINGSTON — Tonia Fleming, of Kingston, won first place in the Alliance for Community Northeast Region’s annual video festival.

Fleming has a Bachelor of Science from Emerson College in speech performance. Her show, “Purr View” brings awareness to animal issues and home care for cats while also offering feline-interest stories.
“Emerson College gave me my voice, but PACTV helped me use that voice to help animals through video and storytelling,” Fleming said.
“Purr View” is on PACTV’s Community Channel, Comcast 13 and Verizon 43, and in over 43 stations across the country. Fleming also produces segments for PACTV’s new show “PCN Life,” focusing on pet health and pet adoption.
“Purr View” won first place in the ACM’s Northeast video festival in the category of Non-Professional News and Magazine Format.
