I’m a budding Independent Field Producer – with a focus on Pet Industry Reporting.  I have over 20 years experience specializing in healthy, senior, disabled and special needs felines in my business The Kitty’s Corner where I offer cat sitting & boarding services in the Kingston area.

That’s why I love working on pet industry stories – My mission is to persuade, entertain, and inspire people to help animals, by sharing stories and humor, through video, voice & public speaking performances.

I love story driven content because its more interesting and powerful to watch than a typical video online these days. I love reading books about animals, watching good stories – emotional stories and the humorous short pet videos online and I love telling stories about animals and the people who love them.

My goal is to promote care care and the feline lifestyle through my business and media stories. I would also like to develop story building skills, and to produce more story driven content in the pet industry:

  • Magazine & Features Style Pet Segments
  • Pet News Packages
  • How-To Videos
  • Video PSA’s
  • Pet Business Promotional Pieces
  • Pet Adoption Spots
  • Short Documentary
  • Photography

– powerful pieces, entertaining pieces – that will Educate and Inspire viewers.

Currently, I produce content for ‘Purr View TV Show’ promoting cat care and the feline lifestyle, which airs on PACTV, and on 48 plus stations across the country and have been a freelance pet reporter since 2015 producing pet health and news packages for PCN ( PACTV Community News), and other clients. In 2016 I won FIRST PLACE in NEWS/MAGAZINE NP in the North East Alliance For Community Media’s Video Festival and was nominated Honorable Mention in the Wicked Local Readers Choice Award’s for Pet Services Kingston Massachusetts!

I went to Becker College in Leicester, Massachusetts for an A.S. in Animal Science, then went on to receive a Bachelors of Science in Speech Performance receiving a Degree in Communication Management and Public Relations from Emerson College in Boston.

Producing videos is an accumulation of all of my skills – story, writing, promotions, pets – the whole creative craft with images and sound. Its very exciting and very powerful to the viewer.

The Kitty’s Corner History
(1997-2004) It all started in Whitman, Massachusetts, when I opened the The Kitty’s Corner, Cat Boarding, Grooming and Supplies, in January 1997 at 715 Bedford Street rte 18 in Whitman, MA. We offered boarding services for cats with a cat playroom, that had a giant cat tree, lots of scratching areas, a rocking chair with quilts for cats to sleep, rest, plat and watch birds out the window. In addition we offered cat grooming services from nail trims, brushing, shampoo and conditioners. We also carried cat supplies, food, toys and grooming supplies.

(2004-2007) The building was sold in 2004 and I began offering cat sitting services. By this time I was learning a lot about special needs care. I had 8 cats at the time and was providing all their medical and home care needs for special needs pets. I had a cat with hyperthyroidism, a cat with kidney failure and gingivitis issues, a dog with arthritis, pancreatitis, hypothyroidism. You name it, I seemed to have it, and to top that I was doing more care than ever for clients cats that were getting older and needing medications too. There’s nothing more special than caring for a cat that needs specialized care to keep them comfortable at the end of their lives. These cats are basically healthy, but need care to keep them regulated, happy and comforted.

(2007-2014) In 2007 I bought a home in Whitman, where they allow cat boarding and I was able to continue to offer cat sitting services and add on cat boarding in my home on a small scale in my living room. It was very nice to be able to have cats stay with me, come out of their condos and watch tv with me, while also being able to have their own condo available to them. My house in Whitman, was like a cottage with a bright sunny living room, and my bedroom was right on the other side of the door. I took a break from boarding at the end of 2014 to focus on my wedding in October, a move to Kingston, and time to fix up my home for sale.

(2015) I’m so excited to announce that the town of Kingston as approved my special permit for my business in our new home in Kingston. I continue to offer cat sitting services and now have the ability to care for cats in my cat office in our home.
